The roadrunner was foraging most of the way uphill on the grassy field immediately across from 11011/11041 Crothers Rd. Sometimes when it wasn't foraging, the roadrunner hunkered down into a ball of feathers showing mostly just its creamy breast with brown streaking on the upper part, which made the bird a little more difficult to spot.
