If you are interested in helping, please do not hit reply because it will go to me, not Cheryl. Cheryl's e-mail address is listed below. Thanks, Sherry Hudson, Biologist, SFBBO Dear all- The San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory has been asked by the National Wildlife Refuge to help out on the annual Snowy Plover surveys to take place 5-11 January. However, due to staff limitations, we cannot really do more than the minimal without outside help. I am therefore requesting assitance from local birders, experienced or not, to participate in these surveys. SFBBO can provide access and maps to areas that are normally off limits to the public in exchange for filling out a data sheet with Snowy Plover sitings. Most of the areas are salt ponds located around the south and east bay. Anyone who is interested, please let me know ASAP. I hope to have all organized by then end of next week, before the holidays. Thanks, Cheryl Cheryl Strong San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory P.O.
