I visited Calero Reservoir with visions of loons sprinkled over the 
reservoir.  Well, that didn't happen but there was one RED-NECKED GREBE
feeding next to one of the red and white buoys in the southern half of
Calero reservoir.  Specifically, when facing the end of the boat launch, the
bird was at about 1:30 about a third of the way across the reservoir next
tothe second red and white buoy.  I saw it at about 8:55-9:00.  Rain and
wind drove me away though.  I was not able to determine age due to the
conditions.  I was happy to see this bird since I had tried for and missed
the January Shoreline Lake bird at least five times!
