It was diving near the red and white marker buoy to the far right of the boat ramp. On our way home we stopped at Almaden Lake Park where we had a first winter PACIFIC LOON on the northern portion of the lake. A quick stop at Los Gatos Creek Park failed to produce any rarities in the larger (northern most) pond. A ROSS'S GOOSE was still with the CANADA GOOSE flock (about 90 strong) feeding on the lawn.
