Good morning all....

On my way back from the Wild Bird Center I stopped at Vasona to do a quick 
check of the rookery.  Much to my surprise a beautiful adult was standing by 
Nest 1.  This GBHE has the most gorgeous plumage, with long chest plumes and 
dark shoulder patches.  Guess you could call this GBHE an "early bird" (sorry 
I couldn't resist) to get the first choice of the best nest!

Behavior was great to watch.  It kept it's head pointed towards the sky as if 
to look for other GBHEs that might be flying over...very neat to watch.
