Today when I went to see one of the long-tailed ducks, I also saw an
American Bittern and Green Heron flying out of the reeds near the stream,
within 50 feet of the big culvert as I walked from the far end of Terminal
Ave toward Shoreline Lake.  Presumably these are the same birds reported in
earlier postings.
